Where Has This Past Year Gone? Holy Cow, Maryn's One!

We can hardly believe that little miss Maryn Wren turned 1 on 4.12.09. Her first birthday fell on Easter, so we decided to have a party at the house. Maryn invited all her family and friends to help her celebrate her first year whoopin' it up. Even Grandma Mary made it out from Missoula.

It's a good think we asked people NOT to bring gifts, or the gift giving might have been absurdly overboard (it was already overboard). But what a lucky girl. She received such thoughtful presents from her friends and family, including books, clothes, college money, a personal laptop (!), a fish, and a star named just for her. Happy Birthday Pookie!

Arrrrr...It's a Pirate Party

We celebrated Maddie's birthday a la carnage on the mighty pirate ship, hosted at the Paulson Tavern. It's nice to know us old farts can keep up with Maddie's young buccaneers!
