Father's Day 2008

Maryn loves Father's Day!

Somebody partied a little too hard.

We spent Dean's first Father's Day at Marley's dad's house in Fort Collins. He and Penny cooked up a delicious spread of appetizers and bbq lunch. We celebrated with an abundance of margaritas, frisbee golf, and lounging in the sun. Maryn celebrated by having the largest explosive dooker she's had to date. What a mess! So much for the cute dress!

Maryn's Milestones

7 months: Eating lots of solids; favorites include bananas, avos, yams, pineapple, and bad stuff like veggie bootie, frozen fruit bars, pickles and olives (yuck!)
7 months: Rolling around to get to objects
6 mos check up: 15 lbs (25th percentile); 26.5" (65th percentile)--long and skinny. No way! :)
5 1/2 months (24 weeks): Sitting up like a champ!
5 months (22 weeks): Rolling over from back to tummy
4 months (18 weeks): Rolling over from tummy to back
4 months (17 weeks): Toes taste yummy!
15 weeks: Laughed hysterically!
12 weeks: Look Ma...Hands! Maryn discovers her hands can grab things, and they taste pretty good, too!
11 weeks: First cold (yuck!) All sleep patterns have gone amuck
10 weeks: Two month check up--Pookers ranked 50th percentile across the board (arms are still probably in the 90th, though!)
9 1/2 weeks: Slept 8 hours at night!
8 weeks: Holding head up very well
7 1/2 weeks: Slept 6 hours at night in crib
7 1/2 weeks: Mom has her first night out with the girls!
7 weeks: Cooing a lot
6 weeks: First vacation--the desert, of course!
5 weeks: Beginning to smile!
3 weeks: First visit to the zoo
